Muskoka Family Retreat on Sparrow Lake

Tämä äskettäin listattu kiinteistö on täysin remontoitu 3 makuuhuoneen mökki ja sijaitsee 1. 5 tunnin ajomatkan päässä Torontosta Sparrow Lake. Sijaitsee rauhallisella lahdella, jossa on 165 metriä järven julkisivu. Mökki on noin 1400 neliömetriä suurella kannella. On kolme makuuhuonetta, joissa queen beds jokaisessa että nukkua kuusi ja kaksi kylpyhuonetta. Myös Bunkie, jossa on Futon, lisää tilaa. Siinä on suuri nurmikko, joka johtaa aina telakkaan ja hiekkarannalle matalalla rannalla.

Mökki on puhdas saapuessasi ja pyydämme, että se jätetään puhtaana loman lopussa. Tämä mökki on täysin kalustettu, ja useimmat asiat tarvitset jo siellä. Tarjoamme tyynyt ja sängyn levitteet ja pyydämme, että saat esiin omat lakanat, ranta- ja pesuhuoneen pyyhkeet.

Sijainti Kuvaus:

This is a beautiful, well maintained cottage with all the amenities anyone would need. The property is private, quite large and the view is amazing. There is a very nice restaurant only a few minutes away. The only negative is that the lake is very weedy. You can’t really swim in it but that is no fault of the owner. It’s a nice lake to canoe, kayak or fish. If you’re not that interested in swimming, it’s perfect.

A Fantastic Stay for our Family of 5

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our family of five (2 adults and 3 teenage boys). Everything in the listing was spot on — the property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable 7-day stay. There was plenty of space for all of us, and the beds were incredibly comfortable — a huge plus after active days outdoors. There is so much to do in this area.We especially loved the outdoor space. The gas grill, fire pit with classic Muskoka red chairs, and the view of the lake created the perfect setting for relaxing evenings. One of the highlights for my kids was fishing off the dock — they were thrilled to catch a 3-pound largemouth bass! Lots of bluegills and frogs too. The owner was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, promptly answering any questions and offering great recommendations for local activities.We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped lakeside getaway.

Great Holiday

This is a very nice cottage and I would recommend it to others. The cottage is very modern and very well equipped. The cottage provides many water sports and toys for the kids. It also has a great view of Sparrow Lake.

Great place to getaway for a few days.

The cottage has more than everything you need and is still a close drive to all amenities you would want. My 4 year old loved it and even my elderly grandmother was able to enjoy the home and the firepit area. Would highly recommend.

Very relaxing. Everyone enjoyed it. Husband would have wished to stay for an extra day -- 9 days instead of 8. Next time we will know. One thing I really liked was that there were several sets of cutlery and dishes and glasses, not your usual 8 (or even 4!) The kitchen was very fully equipped in general.

Relaxing cottage

We enjoyed our stay and found the cottage lovely. It had a large deck and large backyard. There is a steep incline from the deck to get to the waterfront and firepit. The waterfront was not so good for swimming as it was rocky and weedy, however there are plenty of water float toys to make use of. Thanks Kathy

Excellent location and well equipped modern property

The property is modern and well maintained. The Napoleon BBQ grill was brand new. The kitchen had everything you’d need. We used the Kayaks - there’s also kiddie ones as well as outdoor toys for the kids. We brought our golden retrievers who spent all day in the lake. One tip, bring drinking water. Thanks Vivian for being an awesome host.

Family long weekend

Great place. I was there with my wife, my kids, my parents and my sister. The place had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend. Also, the communication with the property owner was great.

Great place for a relaxing family vacay!

We had a great week at this property! The house was very comfortable and the kitchen/dining/living area was perfect. We cooked a lot and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The lake is a bit weedy in the area but my kids spent everyday in the water. The lily pad was great and we rented a pontoon boat for two days which was really fun. A note: in the listing it shows the bunkie having a queen sized futon but currently has a small love seat with chaise. Vivian was super responsive when we needed to reach out to her. A great stay overall!

Great family getaway.

Cottage is wonderful and has just about everything you would want. We were 5 adults and 2 children and did not feel cramped. Air conditioning was adequate and there were plenty of fans as well. Beds in cabin were very comfortable. Screen enclosure around patio deck was greatly appreciated. Sparrow Lake is beautiful and we had some great fish feasts. It will be a memory we will all cherish.

Great Cottage

The cottage is lovely and has everything you need for a nice Muskoka vacation. The property is a good size for family fun. Yes, it is located on a reedy part of the lake, but if you like nature, the biodiversity would be a good learning experience for you kids. We saw an otter, beaver, turtle, great blue heron, frogs, toads and fish. We enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. Our only problem was the heat. The AC unit was not installed and my 76 year old mother was uncomfortable.

Everything in Vivian’s control was top-notch!! But…

The cottage is lovely. The attention to detail is impressive. The kitchen has everything one could possibly need. The fridge, cupboards, and so on were spotless. The live-edge dining room table, leather couch and chairs, open concept eating/cooking/sitting area were perfect. The two bathrooms were clean, modern, and bright. The bedrooms were very comfortable and set back from the main area so that they were peaceful and quiet. The deck, just out through the sliding glass doors, had a dining table smartly surrounded by netting. Down two steps and still on the deck were four comfy armchairs separated by a propane fire table. The path down to the lakefront is wide and easy to navigate. The fire pit area is perfect with 6 lovely red Muskoka chairs. The toys were super. Kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe sit easily accessible beside the sand beach (that had been raked like at a 5-star resort). The water- this is the part that the owner has no control over but is/was important to us. You could walk in on sand to mid-thigh about 10-15 feet from shore and then the weeds started. The weeds are from the lake floor to the surface and are everywhere. One cannot swim from the beach area or beyond the dock due to the weeds. And for us, this was disappointing. BUT , if you do not plan on swimming from the shore or dock, the waterfront and shoreline are picturesque. Thank you Vivian for the use of your very well appointed cottage and grounds.

Breathtaking View

This cottage has everything you could ask for. Kitchen had a great number of small appliance as well. Exactly as described but better lol Outdoor toys for all ages. What a delight to be able to enjoy so many meals on the deck while enjoying the view. Sunset was perfection.

Great Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family getaway. The amenities were great and allowed us great entertainment enjoying the lake on the paddle boards, kayaks and peddle boat. The location was quiet, private and peaceful for relaxing evenings by the fire or lounging with a great lake view. The cottage was well stocked and we had everything we needed and more. Looking forward to returning for future getaways.
