”We booked a room at Penn’s View about 10 minutes before arriving, after another accommodation fell through, and we’re so glad we ended up here. Every person we encountered was genuinely lovely, from the front desk and housekeeping staff, who were just finishing our room when we arrived, to the hostess, our server, and the rest of the team at the attached restaurant.
Our room was charming and clean, with the character you’d expect from an older hotel. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, and...

”It would be fine to "stay and fly", but that's not what we were there for. We were there for a concert. We drove, so we brought what we needed with us and stayed for 3 nights. We tried to use the pool, and the water was too cold - I have a pool and that pool was not even 80 degrees! I didn't see anyone in it the entire time I was there, but maybe that was the point? Our cooler was bigger than that refrigerator and we couldn't even fit what we brought in there, let alone any leftovers from meals...

”Only one elevator working in this property. When I came to check in, I had to wait 30 minutes in a queue to get the elevator to the 2nd floor (check in lobby) and then another 10 minutes again after check in to get the elevator up to my floor.
Room was somewhat clean, dated rooms, a little mould in the bathroom grouting. Bins in the rooms didn’t look very clean. No water provided by the hotel in the rooms or at the lobby.”
