”Pros: The entire house is decorated beautifully throughout and you can tell the host has put a lot of thought into making every aspect of your stay as enjoyable as possible. The pool and garden area are perfect for relaxing in the sun. The bed is large and extra comfy and the Air Conditioning and ceiling fan created a cool atmosphere to sleep in even at the height of Summer. The surrounding area is stunning and gives a real taste of the southern French countryside. That being said it is only a...

3. Villa de la Baume" your little Paradise

Gémenos

”This property was advertised as an entire home, which is untrue. It is an apartment at the back of the owner's home and felt like we were under supervision from the hosts. The property details also changed between the time that we booked and when we arrived - it originally said 2 bedrooms (sleeps 5 with the sofa bed) and a pool, but after we got there and saw the place, we went back to the listing and it said 1 bedroom (with a single bed in the area between the bedroom and the washroom and space...

”Arrived to a very confusing parking situation as we had a van and street was narrow and the directions had us searching for a wrong address. Luckily the neighbor knew where the rental was. Once inside, the house had no decor and felt cold and unwelcoming except for the jacuzzi, which was nice to use but it did not shut off and we listened to it all night. We had to Uber into town because we didn’t want to have to park the van again, but had a nice dinner there. Overall, just okay.”
