”Vietin mieheni ja aikuisen poikani kanssa joulunpyhät tässä hotellissa. Se sijaitsi kiemuraisen soratien päässä, keskellä ei-mitään. Luonto ympärillä oli hieno, samoin lodgemme. Molemmissa makuuhuoneissa oli kylpyhuoneet, keittiö oli hyvin varustettu, ja käytössä oli myös kaasugrilli ulkona. Lämmitetty ulkouima-allas oli hieno. Joulunpyhien takia henkilökuntaa ei ollut paikalla ja ravintola oli suljettu, joten palvelusta en voi paljon sanoa. Kauppoja tai avoimia ravintoloita tms eo ollut...

”We enjoyed the setting with a beautiful beach for bird watching, beach combing, collecting kai moana across the road from a cozy and well equipped batch with a wonderful garden. Great swimming beaches near by. It pays to stay close and explore the area, which has lots to offer. Thanks for all the clear and helpful communications, the use of your beautiful home, and the unexpected welcome with fresh offerings from the garden!”

”It was my first visit to Waikawau area where there are two adjacent beautiful bays, Waikawau Bay and Little Bay. The holiday home, Kaka Cottage we stayed at was truly a nice place to enjoy comfort and tranquility as it is situated in the top forest and the host couple is very kind and friendly. They are peace loving people. We really enjoyed staying at the house. I recommend to all.”

”fabulous location. I felt that there was a big gap between info online and then the further info provided by the host and the reality. The two upstairs bedrooms were fine. The two downstairs incredibly musty. We could not use the bedding from. downstairs. Thankfully we had brought some with us. No internal access between upstairs and downstairs made it difficult with the makeup if the group, I.e. children and adults. It was also very very rainy so that added to the problem if no internal access...

”Fantastic host, communication was awesome. Views of the bay are wonderful, unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy amazing sunsets or starry nights as the weather was bad. The beds are nice and comfortable with fresh crispy linen. Will definitely be back.”

”Was just after first flood. Wondered if we would be able to land or fly out but no problem in the end. Place was close to Claris and easy to find and exactly as expected. Drove to Tryphena and Fitzroy. Drinks at Irish pub was great. My fat puku great coffee and food. Museum n gallery v worthwhile. Bach was great. No problem with water obviously or power for that matter. All in all a great weekend. Thanks Mike”
