”Check in was wonderful, the hotel made sure we had a room that was easy for my sister to get into who has back issues and can’t go upstairs. Very accommodating. They also let me check in 30 mins early which was very nice. The room however did have a bit of a smell. Not unbearable but maybe just because it’s an older place? The beds were comfy. The fridge was a bit loud but we were able to sleep ok. Nicely located to shopping and nature paths and restaurants etc. It was a decent place to stay...

”Who said I did not like? Not giving 5 stars or rating one item as average does not mean you don’t like. My room had “storm” windows on the outside of the main window. one of storm windows was up slightly with a piece of wood under it and the wind whistled. I could not open the main window to close the outer window. This is historic hotel trading on that for their price. Excellent dinning resto, but pricey.”
