Each room on our floor had a theme and ours was the Hoot Gibson room with pictures of the silent film star in the room. On the bathroom door was a sign advising us of the hotel's age and noted that during the shower, the hot water may turn cold due to that age. We did not have the problem, both my wife and I showered with warm water...

”There is NO AIR CONDITIONING!! I was shocked that a hilton product didn’t have air. It was so hot in the room. I had a service tech come and turn off the pilot lights on the fireplace and we opened all the windows through the night, but then had to sleep with the curtains open to cycle the air. ”Clean, great value. Our parking spot was very close to our room, convenient. Front desk staff Ara was awesome, efficient and helpful. We selected this stay because it had laundry room, and we had no wait to use machines; soap and such for sale there if needed. Got take out from restaurant right next door, also convenient. Only minor bummer was the shower - didn't love the not-adjustable shower head with awkward spray pattern, very loud bathroom fan, and two of us bumped our elbows pretty good on...

We stayed in the Park View Hotel (there are two hotels; Park view (views the kid play ground, no view of the lake unless you walk out side) and Beach front Hotel which 3 of these units face the beach, touching the sand where the other 3 units are behind and no view of lake unless you walk outside.
