”we requested the big room with a fireplace and a bedroom and a pullout sofa. There was no pullout sofa. they brought in a te ridiculous rollaway bed that was broken and the mattress on it was terrible. they told us there was nothing they could do for us after all the money we spent. we had a 14 year old who is almost 6 ft tall sleeping on a 5 ft long sofa! the jacuzzi was full of dead flies floating the top. very disappointed.”

”The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

”Room was clean and parking was very convenient. Hotel is very old but it appears to be kept up. Pretty nice for the price. Just don't expect a 4 or 5 star hotel. We probably would stay there again just for a quick overnight.”

”It was ok, for a casino hotel . Room was outdated , linens smelled slightly of smoke but it was a non smoking room. There were unexpected charges at the end of our stay we didn’t have energy to fight because the line in the lobby was very big. Wouldn’t come here again. If you like to gamble and don’t mind the cigarette smell, then you’ll be fine. But I don’t recommend coming here with kids.”

”The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I had called and asked if this was a casino hotel and the answer was “not really”. It is a casino hotel. This means smoking is allowed in the gambling areas. Unfortunately, the smoke smell permeates everything, the check in, the bar and cafe. By morning when you leave the smoke has made it into the hallways of the room floors. ”

”The person at check in was rude and not friendly, in fact even lied to us about room availability. Luckily I checked Expedia and for there was availability and it was $100 cheaper. There were no handles in the shower or toliet area, the toliet was low and small, elderly person had hard time getting up. The rooms were not updated to include charging stations so we had to difficulty charging all the devices.”

”Room was clean, cute, and pet-friendly. I had no issues with check in or with my room. Nice, safe area for hanging outside or talking a walk through town. Very quiet and quaint.”

”There appears no elevator, so those who have difficulty climbing stairs should request a room on the ground floor. There is a small laundry room, but the Soak-n-Suds is a couple of minutes away and is an excellent laundromat.”
