”The inn was a beautiful place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We slept well during our stay. The ocean view was really nice. We saw wild turkeys and a beaver on the grounds during our stay. There are many areas to explore on the property. Our host was very informative . He gave us several brochures about the property and surrounding area when we checked in. The breakfasts that we had were outstanding! It is a wonderful place to stay.”

”What a beautiful spot. In amongst the trees and so quiet. We were at the top of the house and had a little view in f the harbor. Comfortable bed and in room bathroom!”

”Stone’s Throw was quiet, comfortable and just the right space for our island home base! The thoughtful touches like camp chairs and a cooler bag for excursions were very appreciated. It is obvious that Amy takes pride in the property and we would definitely stay again!”

”The house was great! We had enough room for the four of us. The space was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed Acadia and were able to get to every thing we wanted to see. We enjoyed Southwest Harbor food and shopping. We would definitely one back!”

”The location is great and the property is very nice, green, lots of outdoor chairs etc. The breakfast was better than standard motel fare. The only downside is the really small one bathroom (with no sink outside) even for a two room unit or units where four people are allowed. However that is specified in the listing so its not a surprise. You'll have to plan bathroom usage. Otherwise its a great place - nearby to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor.”
