Motellit – Great Sacandaga Lake

”Yuck”

”Bed had nasty old sheets on it, blood splattter”

”We got the honeymoon sweet, very nice and very clean. The TV was nice but unfortunately the remote wasn’t working. We had our fire stick so all was well! The room was also warm for the time of year! Very friendly staff, we checked in late and they waited for us, checkout was also at a convenient time of 11am. Very close to Main Street. I would definitely come here again!”

”Easy access to the lake.. Free Kayaks and Paddles”

”Sweet, clean, picturesque little motel.”

”Although the listing stated that breakfast was included, the options provided were limited to coffee, juice, apples, and fig bars. This hardly qualifies as breakfast and was quite disappointing. The room was reasonably clean, and the free parking and location were acceptable. However, greater transparency about what “breakfast included” actually means would have been appreciated. Overall, the stay was average at best and nothing particularly memorable.”

”The location was nice and quiet while still being close enough to town. There was also plenty of parking available. The room was a normal size and comfortable overall, but the bathroom could use better ventilation. There was a window in the bathroom that could be opened, but it provided a direct view of the hallway outside, so anyone walking by could easily see inside. The window was also at the same level as the hallway, to the point that you could literally have a conversation with someone...

”Price quoted was not the price owner tried to charged. Coffeemaker provided with no coffee or filters, no cups. Towels were forgotten to be put in room. Heat, clock, and fridge were unplugged. Was questioned as to why I turned the heat on in the room. Advertises breakfast/ snack Cafe on premises not operational. No restaurants or stores nearby. Room was clean and spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable and clean.”

”I paid $1,395.65 for a 2 week stay and they took $100 out of my bank without telling me they were doing it and never gave it back. Claimed smoking in room when there was no smoking in room. Also only stayed for a week instead of 2 and got ghosted when asking for refund for the week that was not used.”
