”Looking forward to a nice break at a lovely location, the staff were fantastic and friendly, food was great. The drink prices were too high. The room was a let down, it was damp on entering, plenty of dust eveywhere, the noise and vibration from the road quite bad and noise from room floor above.”

”Super convenient with self check in which is great when arriving late. Radiator was on full so room was super hot but it cooled quickly with the window open and radiator off. Unfortunately this let a lot of marijuana smoke into the room from somewhere. Shower was surprisingly good Reasonably convenient for the train station. ”

”This worked out great for our family. We spent most of our time in nearby Bishop’s Stortford with family. For rest, morning coffee and winding down in the evening, this place was perfect. It was clean and quiet, the mornings and evenings were cool and calm, very relaxing. The place is a bit remote, but that was easily remedied by the superior taxi service we experienced during our stay. We would strongly consider staying again on future visits and feel comfortable passing along this...

”We received a very warm welcome and everything was just perfect. The room was spacious and a super king bed was very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in our room and even a small fridge if needed. A fan was in the room in case it was very hot. We had a good meal in a local pub recommended by David and it didn’t disappoint. The breakfast was delicious, just about anything you could wish for in a very nice dining room, we will certainly return next time we are in the area ”
