”A beautiful property in a great location overlooking the Cliff Path Walk that takes you directly to Hermanus. A view to die for. During whale season - you can see whales out in the bay from your room. Wonderful and gracious service. Excellent breakfast’s and spectacular art work throughout the property. Was everything we hoped for and more. The staff was great and arranged all our area activities. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. ”

”La camera era enorme, con una fantastica terrazza sull’oceano. Tutto molto pulito, ordinato, con Sherry, acqua e caffè a disposizione. Unica nota negativa la rumorosità del condizionatore, che quando si attaccava di notte dava fastidio.. La colazione alla carta prevedeva sia cose salate che dolci di ottima qualità e preparate al momento. Porzioni abbondanti e ben presentate. Siamo stati veramente bene!”

”We had the best time at the Whale on Main! Communication was excellent, we were welcomed so warmly by the host (including a glass of Gluhwein!), and she even upgraded our room at no cost! Fantastic local recommendations, cute little honest bar, great reading options, and an OUTSTANDING breakfast cooked to order! ”The gentleman who greeted us was very helpful in explaining the check in and check out process. This is a very basic stay as a sleep over for your next journey. It was cold, as we stayed in June. However, the electric blanket made it all better. ”

”From the beginning we were greeted with smiles and courtesy. What a lovely little guesthouse. Lovely rooms and seating areas/balcony. Great breakfast too. Very clean and felt very safe there. Our hosts Marius and Nicola were superb. Our only disappointment was that we were only staying for 1 night!! ”
