”Lovely stay. Great location at the base of south lake so we did get some snow, just enough for kids to play. River was flowing fast this April and we hope to come back when it warms up to take advantage of the outdoors, sipping wine and relaxing by the water. House is stocked with enough amenities to cook meals and the store is not far. Only thing I would state is the walk down to the door or river is steep, so take your time.Elderly, bad knee or small children might have trouble when it snows. ...

”Chose this cabin because I love the classic, cozy A-frame style, and I wanted to be in between groceries (Arnold) and skiing (Bear Valley).The large front window, wood-burning stove, cozy blankets, clean and modern bathroom, and upstairs bedroom were the highlights. The kitchen is tiny and has few outlets but it was fine in the end for what we needed, and served its purpose. I just wouldn’t plan on making any complicated meals here. ”

”We were amazed by how clean and well stocked this house was. Everything we could have needed or wanted was there! And the host was super responsive and helpful. The parking can be tricky, but I think the information in the property description does a great job of letting you know what to expect ahead of time. If I had one suggestion for improvement it would be to replace the mattresses on the beds. We all felt that they were not the most comfortable.”

”We had a wonderful stay at this home! The owners did a terrific job updating the house and it is very comfortable and well appointed. We had our family of four and another family of five, and it was plenty of room. The central AC is awesome during the hot summer days. The deck is great, the house is very private, and a short drive to the clubhouse and private lakes. Highly recommend!”

”I spent a night with my family in the Cozy Cub and it was good. We’d had a fun but busy week leading up to our stay and my daughters very much enjoyed relaxing in the upstairs bedroom with a Disney movie (DVD player, TV, and movies were all included in the property). My wife and I enjoyed the pool table and fireplace, and we did s’mores on the outside firepit. We also did laundry while on site. Our travel plans called for us to move on after just one night but we all noted that it could be nice...
