”This villa is basic and was perfect for me for my one week stay.
I enjoyed privacy, the comfortable sofa on the terrace, and a hot bath in a jungle setting.
Overall it was peaceful aside from some construction noise and traffic in the distance. Lots of frogs too through the night but the sounds of nature are wonderful.
Biggest downside was the road to get to it which is very challenging for cars. Better if you plan to use a scooter or scooter taxi.

Location-wise the hotel is somewhat remote, and walking to Ubud is unpleasant (but possible) due to the traffic. However, the hotel is in a quiet extension of the main road and the noise does not carry over.
In the neighborhood there are a few good places to eat and there is the Pepito supermarket a 5 minute walk away.

”One of the best resorts I have ever stayed in. Top notch quality facilities, courteous staff, excellent buffet breakfast with extensive variety, everything we tried was excellent. Very clean pool, not crowded at all (we stayed in September), excellent view of the forest. -25 mins from main Ubud markets and monkey forest, which is not bad if you want to stay away from noise and crowds. ”
