”A bamboo hideaway above the Ayung River. Mahajiva is all about atmosphere. The bamboo architecture is beautiful; the villa is secluded and far from Bali's tourist crowds, and at night the only sound is the hum of river in the valley below. The outdoor pool was perfect after full days of exploring; the villa was clean and comfortable, with AC in the bedroom and reliable WiFi; and the Green School, Taani restaurant, Kul Kul farm, and Bamboo U are a five-minute walk away. Loved the black spiral...

”This was an absolutely amazing place. Nestled right along the sacred Ayung River, this place is so much more than a resort. Sakti Dining Room culinary experience blew me away. We truly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast menu was different everyday and every meal was a masterpiece of flavor, color, and vitality. The combination or flavor and tradition was a high point of every day. The staff at the resort were polite, respectful and always greeted you with warmth. Although, the...

”The staff was very helpful - in making sure the toilet did not leak and they gave very good suggestions as to good restaurants in the area. The pool was clean :-) The room was cleaned twice when we stayed for 9 days - would have wanted cleaning upon request. The whole property was kept clean. Would highly recommedn the place”

”Super friendly and communicative staff, awesome private villa area, beautiful accommodation. Convenient amenities supplied such as clean towels, water, toothbrush shampoo and body wash. Located right next to Warung Semana so easy access for good food. Cleanliness 4/5”

”This villa is basic and was perfect for me for my one week stay. I enjoyed privacy, the comfortable sofa on the terrace, and a hot bath in a jungle setting. Overall it was peaceful aside from some construction noise and traffic in the distance. Lots of frogs too through the night but the sounds of nature are wonderful. Biggest downside was the road to get to it which is very challenging for cars. Better if you plan to use a scooter or scooter taxi. ”

”We had an amazing stay - peaceful, clean, friendly - exactly what we were looking for. A perfect blend of rustic and convenience. Beautiful private location. Meals super easy to get through Grab app. Taxi’s also easy and quick to get. ”

”Such a cool quite little hidden gem. ”

”Where would I start to describe this outstanding hotel? Having already booked in for ten days, which is a rarity in itself I returned to spend the last week of my month long trip in Bali here. What did I like? EVERYTHING. It ticked every box. Undoubtedly the most comfortable bed I have slept in in a long time. Peace, quite - amazingly manicured grounds. Two stunning pools to choose from to toast yourself. The people make it, the Balinese clearly understand hospitality on the whole and I can...

”Aivan ihana ja tasokas hotelli. Uima-allas todella hyvä. Huoneissa hyvä sänky ja toimiva suihku. Tämä oli paras hotelli viidestä missä balilla yövyimme. ”

”recently had the pleasure to stay at Wanda Shanti and it truly exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place to be. ”
