Little Red Barn In The Woods With Hot Tub

New Build, Barn turned Artisan Cottage with Whidbey island milled Douglas fir flooring, pine walls, private outdoor spaces, full kitchen, 1 1/2 baths, 1 bedroom with loft on acreage that is very quiet with nature surrounding it. This space was created/built with the Airbnb guest in mind. Enjoy the beauty and solitude of handcrafted trails, abundant wildlife and large outdoor fire-pit for camp fires. Centrally located on Whidbey Island close to the charming seaside towns of Coupeville and Langley. Little Red Barn sits on 5 beautiful acres and offers a tranquil peaceful setting yet close to seaside town and beaches. Relaxing and enjoyable stay by visiting great community beaches, rock gathering areas, hiking trails, and the finest Restaurants and shops on Central/ south Whidbey Island. Private walking trail available on property.
Enjoy seeing wildlife during your stay such as bunnies, owls, deers, lots of birds, eagles and squirrels.

Other things to note:

*Please bring slippers for more comfort
*please do your personal dishes when checking out.
*please take out the trash when checking out.
*please turn off any extra lights when not in use
** wood for fire is not provided. Please bring wood with you, or grab it on your way in the same road (classic road).
*security camera by the outside door only for outside by the front door.

Exactly the Get-A-Way We Hoped For

Excellent place for get-a-way trip for more intimate time together. There are so many moments created with how the indoor and outdoor spaces are set up. The surrounding natural ambiance provides restful atmosphere. Great distance from places to explore on Whidbey Island. The night sky was super clear while we were there and we had a great time roasting food over a small fire. We did plenty of cooking and baking while we were there.

The place is just like it is in the pictures. Just be prepared that there is another house just across the parking spot.

Charming, yet not practical and not very clean

My husband and I came here for a 3 night getaway. The location and property is absolutely charming. It is obvious that the owner put much effort into the details and decorations, but not much thought was put into the practicality and comfort. The bed is practically in the attic where it was impossible to sleep, because it was significantly hotter upstairs. The fan was in the window, but it did not reach the outlet (maybe need to provide an extension cord). We had to make it work for us to sleep downstairs using sleeping bags. It would be nice if the couch downstairs would be a sleeper, which would give an option to sleep downstairs. The shower is on the first floor, which makes it a little inconvenient being so far away from the bedroom. There was no internet connection, TV service or Netflix as advertised. Our cellphones didn’t work and could not connect to WiFi. So, in order to make calls to our kids, we had to drive off until we get reception. Overall cleanliness was not very good, the floors were dirty, the bathroom was not very clean, and the outside furniture was dirty as well. We had to lower our expectations and still managed to have a great time by the fire pit and enjoyed star gazing, which was absolutely breathtaking!

Nice property

A cute property, we didn’t realize it was so close to the main house. The house was very clean and well decorated. We couldn’t use the window fan on the upper floor, the cord couldn’t reach the oulet. It was very warm upstairs at night.

Lovely house, but not secluded

Listing presents cabin as secluded in woods, but it's in the backyard of another house, less than 30 feet away and in full view. You can see into each other's windows. We wanted a place by itself, and believed that's what we were getting. But this is not that, buyer beware. House is otherwise great. Very cute, cozy, clean, and and nice amenities. Whidbey Island is a wonderful place and we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Great little house. Perfect for the weekend. Had everything needed and more. Very comfortable and clean. One thing is it's a little hard to find the driveway as house is a little hidden. Thanks so much and hope to come back!

Wonderful stay on Whidbey

We enjoyed our stay on Whidbey. The home was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It was quiet and we enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit. I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

A loving home

I really appreciate the love that was put into this place. The decor, the convenience items like the washer/dryer, the way items were layed out, it was all incredibly welcoming and charming. I really enjoyed spending my time in the little red barn :), and I'd come back in a heart beat if the time ever comes I need another retreat.
