We promise this early well-appointed residence will take you back to a simpler life style and should help you wind down after a long day.
The cottage also has a hide a bed sofa in the living room if you need additional bedroom space. Come relax on the private screened porch or socialize with friends on the front porch. Fully equipped and furnished you should have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Could not access the property for three days. Was not able to connect with the local property manager or with Virgo. Had to find other accommodations. When I finally got the code the lock box wouldn’t open at first until several attempts. Will not use this service again. The worst!

We moved to TN 2 weeks ago and have run into many problems with our living arrangements which caused the need for us to stay in short term rentals. This was by far the cleanest- absolutely spotless! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and bake. The host left a number of snacks and drinks for us. Everything you might need or have forgotten as far as toiletries was also provided. These are the types of things that set str’s well above others. I’ve lost count as to how many I’ve stayed in but this is definitely one of the tops. It’s obvious when a host has really put thought into your stay as opposed to just renting their place for profit. It’s also very convenient as everything you need is within walking distance.

We were looking for a nice anniversary getaway and we love history, so Greeneville it was and it did not disappoint! This cottage is very well cared for and tastefully updated. Very clean and very comfortable. The location is on a quiet street right near the heart of town and allowed us to make the most of our short trip. Be advised that the train tracks are only a stones throw away, but we only heard it twice while there, and it just added to the experience for us.The Andrew Johnson home and visitor center was a highlight and very well done.Lots of great shops and restaurants downtown. We strolled nearby Tusculum University campus and made a short drive to nearby Margarette Falls, which was beautiful.It was everything we were expecting and more.

Comfortable Home Away From Home

This was our second time staying at the Cozy Cottage. The description of the house is accurate. Once again, we found the house to be very clean and well stocked with dishes and linens that we would need. The location is convenient to our relatives who live in Greeneville and is near stores, shops, restaurants, and historical sites. There is WiFi which allows you to stream networks while you relax in the evening. We love that there is a washer and dryer at the house as not all rentals have one available. There is a train that runs nearby 3-5 times daily at various hours of the day and night. The first night we stayed last fall, it was a bit of a surprise when we woke to its sound at 4 am but we got used to it and it didn’t even phase us after that. To get the quickest response, the best way to communicate with the host is by text. We’ve enjoyed our stay both last fall and again last week and plan to rent from Wendy again.

Cozy Little Getaway!!!

My husband, daughter & I came from WNC to Greeneville for a show at Niswonger and just needed a place to get away for a bit from the Helene aftermath that’s still very prevalent in our county. This house was so welcoming, clean and full of charm! Although short, the getaway has definitely refreshed us for another long week back home. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future!
