”Check in and check out was a disaster! I used Expedia! The price they gave me was 285.00 when I checked in they charged 336.00 lady would give no explanation! When I checked out the guy couldn’t or wouldn’t print a receipt saying I would get on from Expedia. When I got home Holiday Inn charged the 336.00 to my credit card! What in the world is happening”

”There was a mixup checking in .We only had one confirmation number for one of the rooms vs the two rooms this took 50 minutes to resolve along with the front desk attendant screaming she was getting frustrated.The manager asked us to call Expedia who then resolved the problem ”

”The staff member who checked us in was very friendly and personable. The employee who checked us out was by herself and kept answering phone calls instead of putting them on hold to let us check out. Our room smelled like a wet dog. We were too exhausted from driving hours to get there that we just sucked it up for the night, and I sprayed my Lysol spray. My daughter found 2 empty water bottles under the bed which makes me wonder how clean the room actually was.”

”Nice to have hot breakfast every morning. They over chlorinated the pool and had to shut it down for a day but not a big deal.”

”The staff was very nice. Sony and Faris stand out to me. The staff in the early morning was very nice. They were very professional very cordial and attended to our needs and request in an orderly fashion. The staff was able to answer all of our questions amd respond to our request. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable.”

”The front desk agent named TY everything else was below my standard of living totally unacceptable. Upon arrival night agent couldn’t find the reservation after I had called and informed them I would be arrived after midnight, notes were in the computer which had night agent could not find but magical appeared when the shift changed. ”If a traveler is one who can appreciate wonderful history of a given area within any town, who marvels at the architecture of the early 1900's, who respects the work to refurbish and maintain a nearly 100 year old home, is charmed by the landscape and relishes calm, civility and old luxury........this is the place to stay. Sans a few quirks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt transported back to the roaring '20's. The only think they we would have liked to have enjoyed, was a breakfast...

”The room was huge and we loved the bathtub! The pool was our favorite part and the fact that room service delivered drinks….awesome!”

”The entire hotel was perfect for our stay. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and our stay was outstanding. The entire place appeared new. The room was spacious and the breakfast hit the spot. We would highly recommend. The area new the hotel has a few shops and establishments that you can walk to and is adjacent to the baseball stadium.”
