I was very disappointed with my stay at Hyatt Place Greensboro. The staff came across as rude and unhelpful, which immediately set a negative tone. I paid a high nightly rate only to be placed in a room directly next to a noisy ice machine, making it difficult to sleep. On top of that, I was charged to park on site, which felt excessive given the overall experience. The rooms are outdated and not nearly as nice as expected for the price point.
I booked this stay through Expedia, and that only made the situation worse. When I reached out for help, neither the hotel nor Expedia was willing to offer a reasonable resolution. Expedia’s customer service was subpar and unhelpful, and getting assistance felt nearly impossible. If something goes wrong with your stay, do not expect meaningful support.
This was not a good value, not a pleasant experience, and not what I expect from a Hyatt property. I would not recommend this hotel, and I strongly suggest booking elsewhere—and avoiding Expedia altogether—if you want reliable customer service.
