Everything you could possibly need is in the house and the host is very receptive including the warm welcome of a bottle of wine and thank you note. ”This was the perfect spot for our family! The place was immaculate and close to apple orchards, hikes, and downtown, but still felt so secluded! ”My wife and I wanted a quiet few nights away to celebrate our 15 year anniversary & this ended up being exactly what we were looking for. The location is great - it was fun to watch the river tubers come through, and while it is a busy little area with many tiny homes, it was quiet and felt secluded. We enjoyed having a bonfire and overlooking the river. It’s also located about 5 miles from downtown Greenville, which made it extremely close to good food and activities. We enjoyed river tubing...

”Cute place. Interesting decor. Very well stocked with needed items. We’re not happy with beds. Rubber or plastic on mattresses are so hot. Foam mattress in second bedroom needs to be replaced. Sags in the middle. Tried kids beds and plastic undercover sooo hot. ”

”Absolutely loved this little cottage! Its perfect for a clemson visit as a quick shot down 123 gets you right to campus or the same distance other direction gets you to greenville for dinner. We especially loved the back deck. It was very hot the weekend we were there and the back deck remained pleasant and cool! The fenced yard was AMAZING for furry companions. Its a chain link fence and the owner has carefully plugged up the bottom so even the smallest puppers would not be able to escape! ”

”This property is whimsical. It is old, full of character and interesting items, and beds of every sort. The laundry facilities are wonderful, the kitchen, while one of a kind could use a few new pots and such. We enjoyed our time there, it was very relaxing! If you are looking for a place to chill out and enjoy natures’ beauty, and a fine guitar, tv, and games, this is for you. Make sure to check out the cross from 1828.
