”We are used to hotels and motels, but decided to try out a private room in a backpackers hostel too. The hostel was clean and quiet and our room was cute, but i would not stay there another night just because the toilets and showers were on the hallway. But
a really nice place for backpackers. The decor was cool and lots of room for everyone where to spend time reading books or prepairing meals. ”

”I had to pay 10$ for another blanket (apparently 2 persons should do with one banket). Extra blanket I got was dirty, full of stains. Otherwise the room was nice and big. So if you go there, maybe take your own blankets.”
”We spend one night here in December. This holiday park is surrounded by sea on one side, cemetery on one side and airfield on the third side. With that in mind, we had a good stay here, with no planes landing or taking off during our stay. (No ghost or zombies either.)
The room in which we stayed, was fairly good and equipped, but had a CRT TV, which was a surprise. But well, who watches TV every day when touring New Zealand? The public shower/WC area was little dirty, but good enough for one...

”A one night stay on a roadie down the West Coast heading for the snow. We have stayed here before and frankly, wouldn't consider anywhere else. This time we had a miner's cottage (free upgrade!), it was warm and quirky which we love. Ate in the bar, a real kiwi pub experience and friendly locals. The area is very interesting”
