”Somewhat rundown location. Weeds all over property. Pool seemed clean but was small. We never went in it. Sheets and towels were old and the sheets where scratchy on my skin. This place was Motel 6 status but with a much higher price tag. And actually the last time I stayed at a Motel 6 it had better sheets and towels than this place. The handle broke off the sink in the bathroom and the TV was mounted in a weird way so it was hard to see. The mount did not move or rotate so we could not pull...

”Great experience all around! Staff were friendly and the property was clean and really well maintained. I would just note they allow dogs but they dont offer anything for your dog like a bed or bowl. Their food truck also didnt show one day so some dishes were out of stock but these were not huge issues given we were there to enjoy the outdoor experience.”

”There are not too many hotels in Groveland, but this one stands out. Very clean, well maintained, staff are very helpful. If you are arriving late, read the email/message for instructions how to check in. We arrived late but check in was straightforward although there were no staff at reception, the keys to the rooms were in a lockbox and rooms were ready and well provisioned with all required amenities.”

As an example, was told the restaurant didn’t offer a latte, but I was free to go Nextdoor to their shop, purchase one and bring it back to the restaurant. That makes no sense as a trained professional would have run over, got the drink and added the cost to your bill. The staff was friendly, but lacked the skills...

”Excellent location. Truly a beautiful valley. The ranch that is nearby is gorgeous. The grounds are pretty too. Very quiet and peaceful. The home inside however is run down. Bed is awful…super hard and has a dent in the mattress from usage. Cabin was not particularly clean. Couch was gross…laid towels on it to sit. Screen had a huge hole in it. Cook ware or kitchen stuff was similar to bad used thrift store stuff. Hot water in kitchen did not work. Coffee maker smelled like mold. So...

”We had a wonderful stay and we loved the location! The purpose of our family vacation was to get away from the city and relax a bit after all the holiday craziness. So we loved that it was a quiet neighborhood and we especially loved that there was a hiking trail and small creek pretty much in the backyard. The house itself was spacious and cozy, and the host was great and answered any questions right away. If we come back to the area, I would definitely consider staying here again. ”
