Spacious 2 Bedroom Grover Beach Guest House

Stay near the beach in a private 2 bedroom guest house with separate gated driveway, lighted yard and secure off-street parking.

A short walk to the beach and Monarch Butterfly Grove, this house sleeps up to 4 adult guests (1 queen bed, 1 full/queen bed and 1 sectional couch).

Note the house’s 1 bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom.

The Space:

2bd, 1ba, kitchen, washer/drawer, living room with comfortable couch and TV with Netflix. Furnished patio and yard with shade, cornhole and hanging outdoor lights. Private driveway to the unit provides secure off-street parking with the option of a closing gate.

Wifi, a 55" TV, Netflix, and a Roku streaming device are available.

The kitchen includes a Keurig, microwave, stove, full-sized refrigerator, a traditional coffee maker, and basic cook/silverware. Limited spices and cooking oil is also provided.

Heating: wall heater and portable plug-in heater
Cooling: plug-in fan (please note the house does not have AC but is usually adequately cooled by the ocean air by opening the windows)

Short walks include the beach and surf, Monarch butterfly grove, coffee shops, restaurants, and the Amtrak train station.

Longer scenic walks include the dunes, Pismo pier (1.2 mi), and nearby golf course. Electric bike rental is also available nearby.

Short drives: Edna Valley wineries, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Arroyo Grande, San Simeon elephant seals, Hearst Castle, world famous coastal hikes!

Please read all rules prior to booking. By booking, you are agreeing to abide by our rules. If you break ANY rule, you risk a non-refundable cancellation of your reservation.

Our maximum occupancy is 4 people, (infants do not count toward the occupancy).

This is not a party house nor will our infrastructure support large amounts of people.

You may host up to 2 additional guests up until 10pm.

Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. We encourage guests to be indoors, although quiet outdoor conversation is permitted. No outdoor music or cornhole after 9pm, please.

Additionally:
There is one step to enter the house and one step into the 2nd guest bedroom.

Free washer and dryer in unit.

Apologies, we do NOT supply beach towels (due to repeated theft and damage in the past).

House Rules:

-Please observe check out time of 11am (to allow us to prepare for other guests)
-Please message us upon arrival and checkout.
-Out of respect for our neighbors we ask that you keep outdoor noise minimal after 10pm.
-If you use the dishes, wash them.
-Upon departure:
Place trash or recyclables in the grey or blue bins, respectively.
Throw away any food items in the fridge.
Place dirty towels in hamper.
Please leave the house the way you found it.
-Please turn off outdoor lights during the day.
-No sandy items in the house. Shake out sandy towels and swimsuits outside.
-Do not hang wet towels or clothes on hanging lights in yard.
-Do not park on flagstone pavers
-Damaged or missing towels will incur a $10 charge/towel.
-No smoking indoor or outdoor on this property
-No pets allowed
-Trash day is Friday. We will move bins to the street Thursday afternoon.
