Majatalot – Gulf Islands National Seashore

”Great friendly staff.”

”Clean room and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good and plentiful . Good location. Outside of building needs cleaning, stairs, rails, elevator etc. Pressure wash needed.”

”Ok.”

”The location of the property was great and close to area restaurants and shopping. Very easy access to beach. Everything was very clean and easily accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful. This area had just been thru a hurricane a few weeks before we arrived and I was very impressed with how much work had been done to clean things up. The pool was unable to be used outside as it needed more repairs from the storm and they were actively working on it. The inside pool was available...

”The bathroom in my non-smoking room absolutely reeked of smoke, there was visible mold on the bathroom floor, the wifi was incredibly slow (probably because the network was supposed to be password protected, but wasn't), and the floor was filthy (walked barefoot across the room one time and the bottoms of my feet were completely black). The bed wasn't very comfortable either, but that didn't bother me as much as the other issues.”

”We arrived a week after the hurricane and was very pleased how clean and how quickly the got the pool area cleaned and opened. One little issue is that they “cleaned” the pools and hot tub early in the morning and never cleaned it the rest of the day, which was an issue. The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean and well maintained. We def would stay there again, the location on the beach was awesome! We were able to walk to the pier and several restaurants.”

”Room didn’t feel clean. I spilled water on the floor and used a towel to clean the spill. The towel was filthy after wiping up the water. Shower curtain had holes in it and the shower head was rusted. Sheets seemed clean and staff changed the sheets and made the bed daily. Staff was friendly.”

”They are always there to help, they have excellent customer services and are really accomidating when you need them to be. It's also in a great location they are 4-8mins from grocery stores and the beach you can get to in 20mins.”

”I had to pay for my room twice. Because Expedia messed up the reservation. I would like a refund from Expedia due to having to pay again when I arrived at the hotel”

”The stay was very nice and clean but the furniture was old and worn. I received a good price so I was pleased. The staff were very nice and courteous!!”
