The master bedroom has a luxurious King bed and there is a second bedroom with a Queen and 2 twin bunks!

    When not headed to the beach, the Sand Dollar grounds offer many amenities for you to enjoy. Guests have full access to a gated pool, and a cozy picnic area to enjoy in the evenings while grilling out on the charcoal grills. The condo is conveniently located just across the street from the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. Situated within walking distance of several restaurants, trailheads, and parks, it's also just a short drive to various attractions, including the Foley Sportsplex, Tanger Outlet shopping, OWA amusement and water park, and The Wharf in Orange Beach.

Everything exceeded my expectations. Most condos aren't a fully stocked kitchen. This place was fully stocked- I'm talking crockpot, 2 different types of coffee machines, a blender, toaster, full cutlery/cups and plates and bowls. The property itself is perfect-the beach is right across the street and several places within walking distance. The inside was well decorated and came with games- which made my 6 year old very happy. The beds were comfortable, we always bring our own pillows for travel so unsure if the pillows were comfy. Highly recommend this condo. The pool was a decent size and its covered parking. The only downside was the laundry room only takes quarters and we just weren't prepared, so wish that would've been a heads up.

The location is great easy walk to the beach and restaurants " The Hangout " .

The area had a neighborhood vibe, which was great for the kids of all races laughed played and enjoyed the pool. Great!

I contacted the host 3 days after booking to confirm that there was a washer & dryer. I was advised by the host that there was a washer & dryer in the condo. When we arrived at the property, we quickly realized that was not the case. There is a community laundry room which requires quarters, which we did not prepare for. The host did offer a credit for this mistake, which was appreciated. The property itself is very old. I feel as if they tried to update it, but you can tell it was just cosmetic. I actually cut my finger on the door handle from the metallic paint chipping. I know things deteriorate at a much quicker rate due to the salt water, but being owned by a management company, I would hope that the property would be better maintained. The beds, linens, pillows, towels, etc. you can absolutely tell that they bought the absolute cheapest quality that they could. The unit was not as well stocked at other places I have stayed or even other condos on the property. (We stayed with 3 other families who also rented condos at the sand dollar) One positive that I can say is that the location is very ideal! Walking distance to a lot of popular restaurants. Writing this so people are more informed upon booking. I feel as if this property has all 5 star reviews since they offer a 10% discount on your next stay if you need one, not because it’s actually a 5 star stay.
