The condo itself was great, clean and as pictured. The sleeping spaces are comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The property has easy and beautiful beach access. Jackie was responsive and attentive. The grounds/property were subpar. The elevators were being worked on all week and normally only 1 of 2 was in working order, occasionally both were out of order. The outdoor hot tub was not consistently hot - we went more than once to find it completely cold. Children under age 12 cannot use the hot tub, which was a huge bummer for our kids as the weather was cool most days and being that all the outdoor pools were freezing (none are heated), our kids really didn’t swim outside all week, which was all they had hoped to do on vacation. The men’s sauna was out of order during our entire stay, which was a huge disappointment for my husband. The restaurant on site is overrated and overpriced, everything is fried and tastes relatively the same. We were tired of their menu after only one meal there and it is a haul to get to downtown gulf shores for other restaurant options. Laundry is shared, not in-unit and the payment system is via an app and faulty. We kept having to unplug machines to reset the system in order to get them to work. The tennis court in front of our balcony was closed all week for maintenance. Overall, the unit itself was great but because of the frustrations with property amenities, we will book elsewhere in the future.
