A low-density condo complex in the heart of all the fun of the Gulf Shores main public beach area entertainment district, Island Shores offers fantastic access to major beach and surf shops; restaurants like The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub and Sea-n-Suds; and fun attractions like Waterville USA, Gulf State Park, and The Track Family Recreation Center.

Enjoy your own private balcony as you gaze at the surf and sand below. Be sure to watch for dolphins frolicking in the Gulf. Or, let the kids blow off some steam at the outdoor pool as you lounge around and read that book you've been trying to get to for the past several months.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 2.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Poor Experience

Upon arrival at the 2-bedroom condo I had reserved, I discovered that one of the bedrooms was infested with bed bugs. This infestation made the room completely unusable, effectively reducing my rental from a 2-bedroom unit to a 1-bedroom unit for the duration of my stay. Physical discomfort: I sustained multiple bed bug bites that were painful, intensely itchy, and caused considerable distressReduced accommodation: Despite paying for a 2-bedroom property, I was only able to utilize one bedroomDisrupted vacation: The situation created ongoing anxiety and discomfort throughout what was intended to be a relaxing getawayHealth concerns: Bed bug bites pose potential health risks and required ongoing attention during my stay. We checked out on June 26th I have emailed, called, and messgaed and still have not received a response.

Condo situation

We had booked a condo with three bed's not two beds and a sofa... we had three small grandchildren who are afraid to sleep on a sofa bed son we had issues in sleeping arrangements. condo was not what i booked.... it was very dated refrig wasn't working had to call the repair, wifi didn't work and both tv's we could not put on so it wasn't pleasant but made by.

Unsatisfactory

I do not like to complain but I will share my experience with you in hopes that it is corrected. The front bathtub has a constant drip which causes the bottom of the tub to turn dark. We did not use the front bathtub. In the front bedroom the box springs were broken and laying on the floor. A maintenance man did fix the bed, but we suspected bed bugs. After the first night's stay the lady sleeping in the front bedroom had bites on her face, arm, and ankles. I reported but nothing was done. So, we were not able to use the front bedroom while we were there. These are lot of inconveniences, and I have not been compensated for the issues. A partial refund would have been nice. So, I am sorry, but we were NOT satisfied with our condo.

outdated property

The property was very outdated. The carpets in the unit smelled horrible, the fridge was rusted inside and out, and the bathtub slip mat was peeling. The shower head was detached from the wall and also rusted. The furniture needs cleaning and updating.

Pros -Location and view was excellent! Security was great! Very nice pool. Cons -Not enougn towels for the total amount of guests. Blood stains on the sheets in the hallway bedroom. Stained living room chair. Unit only allowed 1 parking pass for 6 guests.

We had a great time at this condo. Perfect location, loved that it was at the center of everything we wanted to do. The property could use some updates but we aren’t a picky group. Only downside was we weren’t sure if the sheets were changed or just flipped inside out. Overall it was perfect for our friends.
