”We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building.”

”This was an incredible end to our trip. The town is so quaint and adorable with so many friendly people. The houseboat was gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. The sauna was perfect since the weather was a little chill but exactly what you’d expect for the end of December. The host was very friendly and helpful. It was an amazing experience!”
