”The staff worker at check in was extremely helpful and kind. She went out of her way to be helpful. The grounds are beautiful. Nice large pool. Big rooms with pool patios by each room. There is a lot of road noise in the front of hotel but that is to be expected since it’s on a major road. It was nice to have a restaurant on site.”

”Very clean little old hotel with no frills. Hot water. Cold AC. Nice staff great location to Uber. Excellent budget place. Also. Ice cold chocolate milk in the reception area for cheap. Big ass Iguanas in the courtyard. ”

Food choices were broad enough that everyone found something they liked restaurant and bar on the grounds and the adventure tours were super fun! Our adult kids had a great time!”

”I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning.
