”We arrived for a late check in and staff was there to greet us. That was a very nice touch. Staff were excellent. Room was clean and amenities adequate. We were given a room with the view of Kilimanjaro which was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again. ”

”I want to thank Inger, Marvin and all of the Kaliwa Lodge staff for an incredible stay at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Not only is the place unique and astonishingly beautiful, you feel most welcome and all of the staff is always ready to help you and even share personal stories and local info when you're eating or hanging around in the lobby.

”We needed to stay close and other safari lodge we booked and Panama was as the perfect place. The staff were so hospitable and pleasant. They were the start of my amazing time in Tanzania. Shamsa was an angel & so were the team. The restaurant stayed open later just for us to eat when we arrived. The food was great. The driver was nice and helpful. The kitchen staff were so pleasant. Everything was clean and tidy. It was a 10/10 in everything.”

”Small boutique hotel close to Mt. Kilimanjaro. Spacious though quite basic room with convenient walk-in closet. Staff was super friendly and made me feel very welcome. The only minus was that if you stayed in the restaurant building, you’d wake up 6.30 am for the noise of setting up the breakfast.”

”Appearance of property was very pleasing and relaxing. The staff was friendly. We stayed one night coming and another night returning. However considering the high lodging price per night we were disappointed on several accounts. For Hotel pickup upon arrival in country after a long flight, we had to wait 40 minutes at 1:40 am for a driver to show up.
