”Outdoor area was kept up nice! Liked the fact that there was wood provided for a fire! Had to purchase fire starter. Grill was charcoal fueled. Cabin has a cool vibe! Very clean! Furniture is comfortable. The heat didn’t flow well into bedrooms and bath. Light switches were confusing, signage for switches would be helpful. Amenity list could be updated (Keurig and coffee maker both available). It would be nice if some games were provided as well as scissors and lighter for fire/charcoal....

”This is our second year at this beach cottage -- last year all family members (young kids {10 in age],teens, adults) had such a great time we decided to book it again. For our family group, the most outstanding features are the beautiful sandy beach with a gentle slope, and the game tables in the garage which feature air hockey, table tennis, and foosball. The cottage was clean and inviting and conveniently located near Oscoda and just a short drive to Tawas. We also enjoyed being close to...

”The view and location were great, and overall we enjoyed our stay! There are just a couple of things that I think could really improve the experience for future guests. The outside of the property could use a little TLC and some added curb appeal.I would also highly recommend numbering the fire pits to correspond with each cabin. For cabins that don’t have their own fire pit, having a designated “community fire pit” would be a great option. It would also be helpful to have a binder or information...

”We stayed here for two nights for a tubing trip and our friends rented another cabin there as well. We stayed at cabin #3 Surfside and if I were to book again I'd definitely book cabin #6 because it was more upgraded and had more privacy when outside by the beach and firepit area. They had 6 cabins and "the main house" which is the larger house you can rent. Cabin 3 and 6 have the main view to the water as well as the main house. The other cabins didn't have views of the water or a deck to the...
