”Room was very dated and requires a complete makeover. Probably hasn’t been updated in 40 years or more. Cobweb on ceiling above bed and bugs on wall and floor near bathroom. Bathroom also requires updating, toilet height was only 12” not helpful if you have hip or knee issues. Height of vanity low. Bathroom sink had a crack in it and drain hole was rusted. Towels were fairly old and needed to be replaced, Bed was comfortable but could do with newer linens. TV was analog so unable to get any...

”very steep stairs leading to rooms. Property is showing signs of wear and tear. We received emails regarding questions of access and connection to after-hours staff after we left!!! The room was clean and well stocked but showed its age. there is a much better option 10 minutes up the road for almost half the price. There are no extra amenities to speak of . Basically, there are only 2 options within the village and thus, this one is overpriced. Stay in Haliburton or Bracebridge instead.”
