”There was no hot water in the room and the mattress was worn out and lacked support. I left with a back ache. When I brought the lack of hot water to their attention in the morning, I was told “yeah room # - doesn’t have hot water in the sink, you should have tried the shower.” There was no way I was going to shower with cold water. No price adjustment was made. The property has a beautiful view of the lake, and a quaint ambiance. I want to support local business, and I did not want to travel to...

”Everything about this lodge is great. Modern, spacious room, nice pool, good location. The only issue is the incredibly poor sound proofing between rooms, I mean next level bad. You can hear every step next door, even speaking at normal volume. Thankfully, our neighbours weren’t loud, but if they were, it would have ruined the trip. ”

”Stayed at Brookstreet Hotel for a business trip and it exceeded expectations. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you need, and the beds are extremely comfortable - made it easy to relax after long days. The conference facilities were excellent, and the event staff were truly outstanding - professional, attentive, and well organized throughout. Overall, a fantastic experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again for business or leisure.”

”staff were amazing, literally all of them. The building is being renovated by complete amateurs though and there were no notices when booking. Water issues, painting everywhere, shotty work even while spreading grout over tile with salt and mud on them just kept spreading the grout. Hotel is dated left right and center so them doing the lobby is for astetics. Pool is outdated, woods moldy, carpets gross. Is what it is though. ”
