”To say the hotel is dated is being very generous. The carpets are stained and have bumps throughout. There was no TV service... like the Bill wasn't paid. I asked to speak to a manager as it wasn't fair to be upset with the person at the desk and the Manager never returned any messages. The Air Conditioner sounded like a helicopter landing. ”So many complaints with this cottage. Biggest one is that the pool doesn't even have a pump that cleans it. Water is extremely dirty with a grime sheen seen on top of it. Upon asking Mike, he just makes excuses and false promises. Hot water tub is frigid cold and is also filthy. Looks like it's used in the pictures to attract people. ”The lake view room with balcony is a must, the view is incredible. Breakfast was just okay for $17 but the hotel overall was very clean and well maintained. Mix up of rooms upon check-in which staff corrected quickly. Note to other travellers to please be mindful of your noise level ie slamming doors, conversing loudly in hallways and unruly children. Our floor was very noisy which is not the fault of the hotel.”
