”The hotel is a bit dated but it has everything you need for a short stay. The reception staff is nice and the room was very clean and spacious. As other people have said, the same key opens the room and the door so I'm not sure how safe that system is, but other than that, it was a great stay. The location is excellent! ”

”What a pleasant surprise as it was not what I expected. Check in across the road at an enticing Indian Restaurant - able to safely park car in the Restaurant Car Park - room was very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, larger than usual TV. Room looked out on a busy dual carriageway but noise limited by glazed window and noise from pub downstairs was bearable and ended at closing time. Pricing was incredible. Will definitely be back.”

”Our biggest disappointment resulted from what we consider to be false advertising. On ebookers the pictures under Argyll guest house are from nice and modern looking rooms, but our room was nothing like them at all. There's the Argyll hotel on the opposite side of the road from the guest house, so our conclusion is that the pictures are actually from the hotel, not the guest house. The room itself is adequate for someone who doesn't care about the interior but wants only to crash for a couple of...
