This property is a complete disgrace. I've never left any kind of review anywhere. But this very brief stay required it. We didn't even stay the first of two planned nights. I made a reservation at a nearby Hampton Inn within 20 minutes of being shown our disgusting room. The room was filthy. The beds were filthy. The bathroom was filthy and the shower inoperable. The patio area outside the room was strewn with garbage and dirty. Worst of all the room was not secure at all. The only entrance is sliding glass doors onto the gross patio - in a back corner of the property and dim, dirty pathway to the room. The LOCK did not work from the outside. You couldn't lock the door when you left the room. So you couldn't leave anything in the room. The office attendant was clueless, and the office was as wretched as the rest of the place. Dirty mops and old vaccums completely visible behind the counter. The attendant had to walk us to the room around the parking lot and down the back alley because there was no way we could have found it. Then entire place is a joke and an insult to any guest and all of Hampton Beach. The Board of Health should close the place. And Expedia should end its relationship with it. Just having it as an option to be booked is damaging to Expedia's credibility.
