”Excellent location!! The property is absolutely charming and is every thing you could want from 170 year old log cabin. So close to Grandfather Mountain. We loved sitting by the gas fireplace. The screened in porch was an excellent place to eat dinner. Had an issue with streaming services on the TV but the host responded immediately and worked with us to get the matter resolved so we could watch our favorite shows after exploring Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Would definitely stay again!”

”Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.”

”Really great place and amazing value! Easy to get to in Linville Falls and close to the caverns and Banner Elk. House is cozy and clean. Even though the listing allows smokong on designated areas, there isnt any smell in the house. I assume the designated area is outside.”

”Host was great, answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Cabin was cute and adequate. Weather was cold, snowy, and roads were frozen so was not able to get out much. Did see deer in the yard. ”

”Ms. Pat was so wonderful and even left us a few goodies in the frig! The cabin was beautiful with its display of her husband’s artwork; he is very talented. We loved seeing the animals and a woodpecker even visited. Great little vacation!”
