”Excellent service, best hotel on our two week trip in Japan (Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto & Nara). Best breakfast too and buffet type dinner was superb. Nice extra was those two (free!) massage chairs. Room was nice, rather large and quiet and bathroom was clean. ”
”I was considering wether to stay next to Nara Park (and in a Ryokan) or here next to the train station. I was very satiesfied with my choise since it was easy to arrive, move around and the hotel reminded ryokan because of its style. ”This property was self-checkin which was very convenient for us because we arrived from Kyoto fairly late at night. Although we were unable to leave our backpacks at the hotel (there was no onsight staff available for security), we conveniently stored all of bags at the station nearby for only a few US dollars while we walked around town and visited all the sites.

Leider bin ich nur eine Nacht geblieben und konnte somit die anderen Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels wie die Terasse nicht Nutzen.
Zum Abschied wurde mir dann noch ein personalisiertes Geschenk überreicht. ”

"The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location.
Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance.
Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly.
Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing.
With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!)."
"Hyvä sijainti julkisia silmälläpitäen. Täysin koneellistettu check-in ja check-out eli kaikki kommunikaatio tapahtui automaatin kanssa. Aamiainen oli ok, vaikkakin näin pohjoismaalaisena jäi kaipaamaan leipää, juustoa, leikkeleitä yms. näitä ei ollut tarjolla. Aamiaisjärjestelyt olivat poikkeukselliset, jaettiin aamiaislappuja, jolla pääsi sisään. Sitten laitettiin jonottamaan ensimmäiseen pisteeseen ( lämmin ruoka ) ennenkuin pääsi muihin pisteisiin. Lämmin ruoka ehti jo viileätä ennen kuin pääsi pöytään ja jokaiseen pisteeseen piti jonottaa. Lämmin ruoka annosteltiin myös aika pieninä annoksina, niin sitten sai jonottaa lisää, kun kävi santsaamassa."

Onsen oli monipuolisin ja laadukkain koko matkallamme ja selittää varmasti sen miksi hotellilla on huippu arvostelut.
Hotellin siivoustaso jättää hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta yleisesti ottaen paikka on riittävän siisti. Lisäksi sängyt olivat omaan makuuni epämukavia ja tyyny lähes hyödytön. Joten aivan 10/10 kokemusta paikka ei tarjonnut.
Paikka tarjoaa ehkä vähän koomisen paljon kaikkea pientä kivaa asiakkailleen. Löytyy ilmaista jäätelöä, teetä ja kahvia sekä iltapalaksi ilmainen ramen. Hieman erikoinen toimintamalli, mutta piristi matkaa."
