Majatalot – Handa Island

”The hotel is not large, and whilst our room was clean and well maintained, was on the small side. The owner, who manned the reception desk and the bar, was quite a congenial, chatty guy. Breakfast was part of the tariff, & we were offered a choice of cooked options. We eat dinner at the Drumberg, the owner’s wife cooked up ‘haggis neeps and tatties”, which were pretty good. ”Our room”

The chef was sick so we decided having a few options to have some food in the room and enjoy the tv. A nice tray was brought up with soup and cold meats focaccia etc. All very nice in the circumstances.”

”Le chemin pour se rendre à la maison est toute une aventure, mais ça vaut la peine! Maison entourée d’animaux. Les enfants ont adoré! Très belle plage à proximité ”

”Wonderful host and a wonderful place to have breakfast with a view. Would highly recommend this place as you travel the north coast 500.”
