” The rooms are very nice, breakfast is excellent, and most of the staff are very friendly. Service at the front desk varied depending on who was working. The hotel is in a more remote location and walking to town isn’t ideal because of the busy road. Transportation into town can be a bit tricky, as taxis aren’t always easy to find.”

”This was a perfect experience for what we wanted. Carla is amazing. Pick up was easy. She arranged a rental for us to use. The lodge was secluded (which we loved and wanted). It was clean and view of the ocean from our window and balcony along with the stars at night beyond perfect. We will stay here every time we visit. ”

”We loved our stay! The place is quiet, comfortable, and surrounded by nature — you truly feel like a local. It’s about a 20-minute walk downhill to town (a beautiful walk with shops and views), and just 5 minutes back by taxi. Everything was spotless — no insects at all — and María Isabel, the owner, was always attentive and kind. The kitchen has what you need for basic meals, and while the Wi-Fi is slower in the room, it works well in the common area (perfect for disconnecting anyway). The...
