”It is what is advertised, and that deserves a good rating. The place is very clean and well maintained. I didn't come for frills or a pool, just a clean room for a night.”
”The outdoor seating area was marvelous. They were hosting 2-3 large events, the parking lots were overflowing in front but there was disabled parking close enough at a back door. Despite the large parties it was quiet and nice. The parties were held on the opposite side of the hotel. I was impressed. ”

”The Black Hawk Hotel is older, but kept clean comfortable and safe. Unlike some other hotels the Black Hawk did not charge an incidentals amount on my card at check in only to return it later, I appreciated this. The only dissapointment is there is no onsite parking, we got a map showing 24 hour street parking. The closest being a block away.”
