”Hosts, Sam and Kaz, were most pleasant, kind, and hospitable, from start to finish, from arranging delicious vegan breakfasts, providing helpful directions to local sites and shops, to explaining rules of the B and B in very clear and thorough detail, to joining in conversation and making me feel at home. B and B about 25 minutes away from Halifax and 1 hour and 20 minutes from Peggy's Cove, for reference. Sits across from Williams Lake, where on their deck a beautiful sunset can be seen. A...

”Excellent location close to town. Also very roomy, Property could use a coat of paint and more serious cleaning. Dust was all over the headboard, spider webs were behind the headboard. TV was tedious to obtain and nothing to watch unless you had your own accounts that you could access. The remote for the window blinds were so small, they were almost unreadable and difficult to adjust. There were no remotes or controls for the "adjustable" bed, that we could find. There were also two curious...

”Conveniently located for the reasons I was in Halifax. Room was extremely clean and well-maintained as was the Bathroom. Quiet; Children living on floor above but their noise was minimal and normal for kids. All was quiet after their bedtime!! Walkway to the private entrance at the back of the house was grass and ground uneven. The weather was sunny & warm during my stay, so was not a problem. Had it been rainy or winter conditions, it would have been slippery.”

”The country suite of the Gingerbread House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. A nice walk into town for good food (definitely try Paddy's pub) and a patio. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking the amazing trails the Bay of Fundy has to offer. Wish we had time to take advantage of the fireplace area. The only issue which could be easily remedied are the pillows which were as thin as could be. I'd definitely bring my own. Other than that a great place!!”
