”Our family of 4 (kids are 7 and 9) had the most fantastic stay at Elve Huset! The property is incredible. Surrounded by trees, wildlife, and a quick, rocky walk down to the Smith River (cleanest in the country, arguably the world!). When we weren't out exploring, we lived in the backyard. I loved reading with my coffee in the early morning hours in the swing or on the deck, complete with sounds of the river rushing by and jays pestering me for peanuts. We spent many evenings sitting on the rocks...

”The house was clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook meals at the property. It was so close to the spots we wanted to go. It had a hose connected outside so we could spray off our sandy feet and shoes before going inside. Check in and out instructions were clear and they gave good directions so we could find the lane quickly. ”

”The resort layout provided great privacy and quiet surroundings. I greatly appreciated the self-check-in/out to the cabin. The cabins and Tee-Pee area shared one shower/restroom area that required an unlock code to use and a $3 deposit for shower use much like a State Park facility. The benefit is the privacy and cleanliness in using the shower/restroom arrangement. The host was great: available and accommodating!! I will contact the resort again for a longer stay in September. ”Great place for a first clamping experience although we did need to bring a few more supplies. They did have wood to buy on site which would’ve been convenient, but we didn’t have the other tools. Beds were very, very comfortable best part about it, and definitely this has the best of view of all three of the glamping sites. ”

”We loved our stay here. This cabin is at the end so it offers a bit more privacy than the others. It was beautifully appointed and had all the basics, as well as coffee pods, creamer and comfy bedding. It does not have a fire pit like the other cabins but we were able to start a small fire in the grill. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing stay.”

”This is the ideal halfway’ish point between the Redwood Forest, the coastal Highway, and Crater Lake. After many hours in the car traveling down US 101 and then several more hours getting to O’Brien, it was great to sleep in a nice king sized bed in a cabin. Normally we would show up at our campsite after hours in the car and set up camp, tired, and bickering.
