We brought entire family, 13 adults/5 children, to celebrate mothers 80th bday. The property was gorgeous, conveniently located between Habor Springs and Petosky. We loved the privacy, the trees, the deer, and outside firepit to make s'mores. The amenities were wonderful including the hot tub, pool table, and the wonderful play area for kids which was an absolute bonus (Not many have such a well stocked play area for little ones).
Loved the atmosphere of the cabin, very warm and cozy. Plenty of room to gather for such a large group, including playing pool/foozball downstairs, cards/board games at large wooden kitchen table, and many deep conversations on comfortable couches. The kitchen was large & included everything needed to cook meals for large groups.
A few things need to be fixed, but when mentioned to the property owner, she already had scheduled to get fixed. The ice maker wasn't working because the vendor installed the new refrigerator incorrectly. The property owner offered to pay for our ice for the inconvenience. Amazing!!! Also missing bottom slate of one of the pac-n-plays, which she volunteered to pay for a replacement if we bought one. Very responsive and so appreciated.
Only complaint is bedroom with 2 queen beds has only 1 exit: the door, no windows (Fire concern for us). Also this room had limited options for clothing. Not ideal. All other bedrooms were very large with huge closets. All beds were comfortable.
