”Very flexible and accurate check in process. Well-kept grounds in nice quiet neighborhood convenient to HS, Petoskey, skiing. Plenty of parking. Unique entry in to basement bunk rooms/laundry/play room/ski storage area with immediate stairs up to main area. Main living area is great. Open concept. High quality appliances, plenty of lounge area in the living room. House comes with more amenities than most places as far as kitchen utensils and supplies, which was nice. Good wifi and streaming....

”Excellent place, exactly as described! Plenty of space for large groups (we had a group of 19 family members). Positives: location, condition and size of the property, close to beaches, Petoskey, and Mackinaw areas, plenty of bathrooms, SUPERIOR communication with host and immediate resolution of minor issues. Negatives: only ONE full bathroom on lower level for those not in rooms with baths, no rail on porch (difficult and safety issue for those older folks - even though only 3 steps). My...

”Nice home inside. However, the outside needs some TLC. Lots of geese poop, deck needs cleaning and the dining table was very old with an umbrella that had no stand. Also, the playscape was taken over with lots of weeds. A little landscaping could definitely be beneficial. However, we made the best of it and had an enjoyable time. Make sure you bring camping chairs and water shoes!”

”When we arrived, it was later in the evening. We were excited to be up north and meeting friends, and admittedly we were in a hurry. The breakfast sign-up policy was explained, and unfortunately we forgot to turn in the breakfast form by the 8 p.m. deadline. I texted the host to apologize and explained that my husband and I are not picky eaters at all and would be happy with anything — we just asked if he could surprise us with breakfast at our already scheduled 9 a.m. time. ”Chris and Jessica were wonderful and very accommodating hosts. Their breakfasts may have been the best food we ate during our entire trip. The room was squeeky clean and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to book again if we happen to be in the area.Though we are not wine drinkers, the winery area was spectacular as well.For those who are on motorcycles, it is a pretty steep uphill and curvey driveway, but doable for those who are experienced.Overall 10 stars in our book!DawnFlorida”

”The staff were friendly. The extra toiletries left in the bathroom were appreciated. But the shower had two black holes into the wall about quarter sized that were covered by clear plastic. The grout in the bathroom on the floor was receding and looked dirty. The Kleenex boxes were empty. The sink had a slow drain.”

”Hotel Perry was a great place to stay! Located on the fringe of Downtown Petoskey, it is within walking distance to restaurants, arts and theatre and shopping! The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was excellent and the rooms were clean, spacious and filled with character. It was not cheap, but then again, we weren't looking for 'cheap' -- we were looking for a quality experience and convenience...and we got it! Thank you, Hotel Perry!
