I would have liked to know ahead of time that I was staying at the adjacent building instead of the actual Stone Hill building, but it was still great. The speakeasy was totally fun, but I would raise the rate of the room a smidge and offer the customer their first beer, wine or cocktail for free. People love that. ”

”Old(er) hotel that has been upgraded. Beds and pillows were comfy. Twice management came to see if I was smoking (I wasn’t) and twice housekeeping came while I was drying my hair. Seems like the noise of the hairdryer would have been pretty noticeable? The room next to me partied until 5am. Perhaps that is the room that was setting off the smoking sensor. All in all it was adequate. I think I was expecting more. ”

”Staff was polite and willing to wait for us even though we arrived in the wee hours. The king size bed was so soft, my back hurt really bad during the night. Other than that, the rooms were great and had shower products available. Walls were a bit thin so I could hear the people next door talking and snoring. Location is great and a quick drive into downtown Newport. We didn't like the free breakfast at all.”

Room size and layout were perfect. The only downside was that I was expecting a pool, but it wasn’t available yet and appeared to still be under construction. Overall, a very pleasant stay with just that one small disappointment. Highly recommend! ”
