”We enjoyed our three night stay at the cottage. The weather was wet and cold but we were cozy in front of the wood stove in the living room. Beautiful view of fall colors across the lake. Kitchen had everything we needed. I would love to go back in the summer to swim and enjoy canoeing.”

”It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.”

”We loved the chicken/duck/goose coop down the road. We visited them every day, and the management even brought us some of their eggs on the first day. They also brought us a bundle of firewood to use. We had a campfire both nights. These things were unexpected, and very appreciated :)”

”If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. The location was easy to find and everthing was as the pics show. If needed you can charge your phone with the solar powered charger and signal strength is...

Wonderful location to enjoy the Bancroft area and all that it offers. Deborah was an exceptional hostess. Our stay was all the better for her kindness. Would highly recommend this wonderful VRBO gem.
