”4 girlfriends stayed one night for a birthday celebration. House description was accurate. Host responded quickly. Very clean. Loved the extras that were provided, coffee, tea and some snacks. The massage chair was awesome! It was too cold to use the hot tub, but it was only 410 feet away from a cute Irish Bar which has good food and drinks.The house isn't in the prettiest of neighborhoods, but once you step inside this diamond in the rough, it was worth it.”

”Great location close to everything downtown Waukon has to offer. House was charming with modern kitchen updates with new appliances and the host even offered fresh frozen meals for purchase which, was a nice option that I’ve never seen at other VRBO’s. The house had a modern farmhouse appeal and was very charming. Would without question stay here again.”

”The converted jail was such an interesting and unique place to stay. The property is beautiful, the house and room were clean and inviting, and the cell block was a great place to hang out and explore. We loved morning coffee on the balcony and the fabulous whirlpool tub for relaxing. Make sure to check out the incredible food at the local Algerian restaurant, and a lovely river walk, or explore the four story antique mall in town!”
