Cozy Mountain Retreat with Amazing Views

Kick back and relax in this 4-acre mountain view oasis. This getaway is a great way to be surrounded by nature while having all the home amenities you need. Enjoy the spacious living area, relax in the jetted bathtub, make s’mores at the fire pit, and pick some blackberries in the backyard, enjoy a cup of coffee while watch a beautiful sunrise.

There are great spots for fishing in the local rivers, as well as hiking in the beautiful mountains and minutes from Winrock Park. You will feel extra safe in this very quiet gated community.

Please note: The indoor fireplace is not in working order, but the outdoor firepit is a great location. 4-wheel drive vehicle recommended in winter due to possible snow on steep hill.

Nice clean spacious space!
Really nice and clean space with everything we needed. We stayed there to go to Windrock Park which is only about 25 minutes away. Such a beautiful home and view. We felt safe and cozy the whole time.

perfect in everything I think that if it were not that those days we were there it was raining hard every day it would be sensational it has a view of the incredible mountains the food is not very long it is private secluded for those who appreciate a break I recommend it

Clean and beautiful BUT....Roaches
The place was as described. Beautiful location, beautiful inside. Was very clean on the surface. We booked it for 5 nights. Before we arrived, we stopped to buy a bunch of groceries for our stay since it had a big kitchen full of everything to cook.The first night, we went under sink to get something and saw a bunch of roaches scatter. The next morning they were on the coffee pot. That night all over counter. I called the owner who said he would call exterminator right away. He even said the cleaning lady said she saw a bug. By this point the food we got to eat and cook was useless as we were grossed out that we would not cook anything or use anything in kitchen. Owner said he could not get exterminator there till next week but would stop at home depot the next day to get something and come by to spray. He did. But lets be honest, with roaches you need a professional. We paid for 5 nights and he only offered to refund one night. It ruined the rest of our stay bc we couldnt cook anything, were grossed out, double checking to make sure nothing it brought home with us. This wasnt ants or a stink bug problem. They were roaches. And Although the owner tried to help by coming to spray something, i think we should have been refunded more than just one night. I would hope that he has the house exterminated several times before renting again so that this does not happen to another family on their vacation. Because it made for a very disappointing vacation.

Very peaceful getaway
The house is wonderful but the views are the real star. We spent most of our time on the two back porches and loved every minute of it. The house was a great size for my wife and I and our two dogs. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and a great place for a morning walk. We will definitely be back.

Peaceful Getaway
Absolutely gorgeous house with fantastic views. The interior is beautifully decorated and was the perfect size for my husband and I and our dog. We made a shrimp broil on the fire pit which we enjoyed while gazing at the mountains. 100% recommend this property. We will definitely be going back! - Thank you for everything Daniel.

Clean & Comfortable: better for families than two couples
The house was very clean, updated and in a beautiful location. It was a lovely neighborhood and was very quiet. Overall it was a great experience. But we were a little surprised by the layout of the bedrooms/bathrooms. We were 2 couples traveling together and the layout made sharing the space just a little awkward. Both bedrooms are upstairs, there is one huge full bathroom, but it connects to one bedroom and the two bedrooms connect together. So we just had to coordinate and communicate...otherwise it would be possible for one couple to be unable to access their bedroom (or get out of their bedroom)...because they had to either walk through the other bedroom (we kept the door locked between bedrooms) or the bathroom...both of which could be locked while in use. There is a half bath downstairs...but it would have been better if it had been 2 full baths. All that to say it was a little weird for two couples...it probably would be better if it were a family w/kids. We really were just there in the mornings and evenings (we were riding at Windrock about 30 min away during the days). So in the end it was ok and it really was one of the best options in the area to stay, especially because we planned the trip with pretty short notice.
