”So cute, great service and owners. Quaint property right outside of town….. like very close you can walk!”

”We were scheduled to stay 2 nights however our sleep was disturbed by unruly guests in the room next to us. We called the desk several times & finally on the 3rd call management came up & talked to them. A few hours later at 1:30 a.m. they had their t.v. on so loud that it woke us up and when we packed up at 5:30 a.m. their t.v. was still blaring. We ended up going to a different hotel instead of staying another night. At some point I did ask them if they could transfer us to another room & they...

”Not what I was expecting at all. It was cheap so I should have know. My room smelled like tobacco and dog piss. The room and building has significant wear and tear. It was just not my vibe at all. Staff was friendly and did a great job putting on the continental breakfast. But that’s about it.”

”The room was nice and clean. Comfortable bed and nice large bathroom. Liked the round couch/loveseat in the room. The room was quiet. We were on the 4th floor. The pro to this hotel room was the most important which is a great bed and clean room. The cons for me were a thermostat that if no movement in the room stops. So when sleeping may not stay the temperature you like. There was a coffee maker in the room but no free coffee in the lobby. Overall was a great stay and would stay again.”

”The room was nice and shower ok. The breakfast was poor: scrambled eggs, sausages two mornings, bacon once. White toast, no vegetables, dry oranges, only jam to put on toast, so no cheese, turkey or something like that. Juice ok, coffee ok. ”

”Excellent hotel all around. The lobby and rooms are in great condition - it's surprising that the building is about to undergo renovations in late 2026! The front desk and breakfast staff were great. Location is very quiet and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.”

”Very clean room, super nice staff. The breakfast was top notch (try the lemon or churro flavored waffles, they were outstanding!) It’s a nice quiet hotel and I felt very comfortable there. When I visit my family in East Lansing, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.”

”Conveniently located for visits to MSU. Very friendly and helpful staff good location close to the highway and restaurants. The building is a little dated and could use some maintenance but if you’re looking for a place to lay your head for the night, this is decent value.”

”Absolutely the “budget option” every time I’ve stayed here my room has been clean but the property is not well maintained outside and is very outdated so oddly doesn’t always feel that way if it makes sense. The staff have always been helpful! I HATE the pothole at the entrance to the parking lot. That needs to be fixed asap genuinely such a hazard.”

”Bathroom and bedroom was clean. Actual bathroom fixtures wear shining. Good supply of towels and toiletries also. Lots of shops nearby - Walmart and fine clothing stores - The Gap, Victoria Secret etc. Hotel located in Eastwood shopping area with wonderful restaurants in Eastwood shopping area along with other restaurants down the street on Lansing St. Blvd. There is also a bank close by.”
