”The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. ”Beautiful, comfortable, clean and easy to communicate with property owners. So peaceful, the horses were amazing! Would stay here again and recommend to anyone. ”

The house is located on a side road in the resort so low traffic and quiet area, good for a relaxing time.”

”This was a wonderful weekend get away and you could tell the owner put a lot of thought and attention into making this a fun place for the adults and kids. I loved the holiday lights she had up and a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything was clean and up to date. We appreciated the space and the hot tub was the icing on the cake!”

”Beautiful property and views. Stayed overnight with my Shepherd as we traveled back home on a long trip. Great open property to walk with my dog. Large basement rental with large kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Plenty of TVs too! Being a basement rental, I could hear the family walking around upstairs so keep that in mind if it bothers you. Private gated entrance, nice patio, and private entrance to basement. Was able to see an amazing sunset over the valley and nearby mountains and then...

”The Nut House was a nice place to go for a weekend in Massanutten. Hot tub was lovely and they had lots of different games. Very close to a ridge trail for some hiking. ”

”The house has lots of space—really good sized rooms—and plenty of towels, linens, outdoor furniture and equipment, etc. to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains and incredible stars on a clear night. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from JMU and it was close enough to be convenient.”

”The house was great for my family get together, 3 adults and 5 kids ages 4-8. Kids loved the game room and outdoor space. Kitchen was well equipped and lots of storage space for our supplies. Plenty of bathrooms and beds for our partcular needs. Great location that is convenient to many activities. ”

”This place was PERFECT!!! The location in the park was easy. The home was looked just like the pictures. It was clean, everything was working properly. Oh, my husband did fix the ice maker on the refrigerator. The decks were perfect. It was more than enough room for my big crowd. We even took the dog and she loved laying on the deck. I will definitely rent this home again. Oh yeah, the owners did not drop by unannounced to check on us but had a phone number available if we needed them. ”
