"It was ok for the price we paid. There was some complications trying to contact the host to arrange check in but we got in ok on arrival . Room was ok, quite basic , no facilities to make a hot drink. There was not much loo roll provided for 2 nights Relying on public transport, it was a fair walk to town on rough path right by main road "

"Great place with wonderful views. Road to get there was a little rough but we managed fine in our van. Could really do with better air conditioning as the room on the top floor was uncomfortably warm. But great outdoor area for socialising with a bbq. Washing machine for clothes was very useful and airing racks are provided. Thank you for having us. We enjoyed our stay."

"Wow! This is an absolute gem of a hotel. Everything about it is perfect. First the location: if you arrive by bus from Brasov the bus stop is right at the end of the street, less than one minute from the hotel (and the same for the return trip). The hotel is opposite a lovely little park and across the road from the castle grounds. The view of Bran Castle is outstanding. Once inside you are greeted by the lovely staff who are all so friendly and helpful. The entrance, lobby and restaurant areas are charming. We had a room on the second floor which was beautiful, with a sloping ceiling and a view across to the castle-amazing at night. The room was spacious with twin beds, comfy chairs, a full size fridge and a great bathroom. There was complimentary water and tea and coffee facilities, which are always welcome. We went to the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious and well presented. The service was excellent. Breakfast is served at your table-a delicious assortment of traditional meats, cheeses and bread, fresh fruit and freshly prepared eggs (I had a cheese omelette). This must be the best place to stay in Bran."

"The Cristian Inn is a dream near Braşov. The staff was incredible and so friendly. Our room was huge and wonderful. We had parking right by the door the whole stay. The breakfast was great and a large spread. Dinner was also excellent with many traditional options. I cannot recommend Cristian Hotel enough."

"The most amazing hotel I’ve ever been to- beautiful relaxing amazing spa- and the food!!! And I’m so problematic with food usually but wow! Horrible horrible room! Did not clean because apparently I need to ask specialty in the reception which they did not tell me but whatever. The pillow are not humanly possible to sleep on, it’s like a brick - beside that perfect - just never agree to be in a room that is like an attics with uneven roof."

"Great place to stay while visiting Bran and Zarnesti. Staff were incredibly friendly, and took very good care of us. Even played me and my friend off, as we left, with our new favorite Romanian song, “Lady” by Sandy Ciorba… which we had been dancing to out on the balcony :) Food was also excellent, and the lamb stew with polenta was one of the best dishes I had in Romania. Getting in the driveway to park is a bit of a pain, but we did finally make it. Trick was to swing wide and to turn in from the opposite side of the street. "
